The Greek word "salpiggi"is often translated both sofar and trumpet, but from the resurrection context, it would be used shofar. Shofar is often made from the horns of rams, sometimes with the horns of sheep, goats, or antelopes. “Wherever you hear the sound of the shofar, rally to us there.
