THE MORAVIANS
Following a revival among the Moravian people in 1727, a prayer meeting was formed of "hourly intercession." This prayer meeting lasted for a hundred years, 24 hour prayer, seven days a week.Their crest was the Lamb of God carrying a flag of victory which had a red cross on it. The motto encircling this crest said, "The Lamb has conquered, let us follow Him."The Moravians learned that the way to really love the souls of man was to first love, without reservation, the Saviour of man. Missionaries, willing to risk their lives, went out from among the Moravians to the nations. One day, as two Dutch missionaries set out for the Dutch West Indies, they gave a great shout, which became the passionate call of the Moravians: "MAY THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN RECEIVE THE REWARD OF HIS SUFFERING!"
And we pray, pray, pray that He truly may!! Now God restoring all things including Moravian Lampstand among all nations.
